And the mug is a gift that the teacher can use in their classroom every day. These items are sure to be cherished among the favorite gifts for any teacher. Arts & Crafts Supplies Coffee Gift Baskets & Tea Gift Baskets for the Teacher's Lounge Novelty Gifts @ the Oriental Trading Company Gourmet & Novelty Gift Baskets Gift Certificates Posters & Art Prints And final thought...no doubt a teacher will appreciate the fact that you remembered him or her at the Holidays with a gift. However, consider this. Teachers always love it when you share with the whole class (of course!) Why not find out what your child's classroom most needs and surprise the teacher with a gift in his or her honor that benefits the students too. Maybe it's art materials or books--often teachers go out of pocket to buy those little extras for their students that didn't quite make it into the Departmental budget for that school year. Find out what's hot on your teacher's list. If it's something expensive, talk to some other parents in the class and see if you can coordinate a group that makes it affordable to all involved. Birthday Present ¶ 166
Birthday Present (Quarter Life Crisis) Quarter Life Crisis The world according to Sven-S. Porst « Coffee break • Main • In the paper » Birthday Present ¶ 166 words This morning Leif and me went shopping for a birthday present for Carola , who is having starting her quarter life crisis now as well. Well it was frustrating. We wanted to get a Rolodex file - but thought over 50 were a bit steep for a few bits of metal, plastic and paper. So, with time running out, we simply panicked. After lunch Stephie and me went on another trip and we got a nice large cooking knife. A very nice one indeed. Chopping vegetables is a lot of fun with it. In the shop we could try out the different knives on the salesperson’s lunch - which sort of compensated for the frustration. By now it seems, giving the knife was a good idea - so it was worth the hassle. We had a cake party this afternoon - I made a baked cheese cake and there were many other cakes as well. Later we ordered some pizza. Now I feel a bit sick.
